HSFF by the Ontario Hospital Association is designed to be a handy reference of key facts and figures about health care in Ontario and beyond. 

Canadian Health Services Research Foundation (CHSRF)

CHSRF promotes and funds management and policy research in health services and nursing to increase the quality, relevance and usefulness of this research for health-system policy makers and managers.

Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI)

CIHI provides timely, accurate and comparable information to inform health policies, support the effective delivery of health services and raise awareness among Canadians of the factors that contribute to good health.

The Change Foundation

Centre for Healthcare Quality Improvement (CHQI)

Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario (CAHO)

CAHO provides a focal point for strategic initiatives on behalf of Ontario’s 25 hospitals that have teaching or research affiliations with one of the 6 university medical or health sciences schools.

Growing Communities Healthcare Alliance

The Growing Communities Healthcare Alliance was created to help ensure that Ontarians living in rapidly-growing communities have access to quality healthcare as close to home as possible. 

GTA Rehab Network

The GTA Rehab Network is made up of publicly-funded hospital and community-based organizations from across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) that are involved in the planning and provision of rehabilitation services.

Hospital Auxiliaries Association of Ontario (HAAO)

HAAO advocates community partnerships in the support of health care in Ontario through education, fundraising opportunities and the promotion of volunteer services to people.

Ontario Association of Community Care Access Centres (OACCAC)

OACCAC represents Ontario's Community Care Access Centres, local organizations that help people access government-funded home care services and long-term care homes.

Ontario Association of Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors (OANHSS)

OLTCA is the largest long-term care provider association in Ontario and the only association that represents the full mix of long term care operators -- private, not-for-profit, charitable and municipal. 

 

Government

Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)

CIHR is the Government of Canada's agency responsible for funding health research in Canada.

Cancer Care Ontario (CCO)

CCO is the provincial agency responsible for continually improving cancer services.

Cardiac Care Network (CCN)

CCN is a network of 18 member hospitals providing cardiac services in Ontario.

Health Council of Canada

The mission of the Health Council of Canada is to foster accountability and transparency by assessing progress in improving the quality, effectiveness and sustainability of the health care system.

Ontario Health Quality Council (OHQC)

OHQC is an independent agency funded by the Government of Ontario with the mandate to monitor the quality of the health system, highlight what's working well, as well as areas that need to be improved, and support quality improvement across the system.

Ontario Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs)

LHINs are not-for-profit corporations who work with local health providers and community members to determine health service priorities for their regions.

Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC)

The MOHLTC provides overall direction and leadership for the health system, focusing on planning and guiding resources, bringing value to the health system.
